Uh-Oh!

Well, Zoey decided to decorate our bowls with her crayons. I was doing the dishes in the other room and I walked in the front room to check on her and there she was, coloring on the inside of the bowl. Immediately after she saw me, she said, "Uh-oh". I said, "yep,Uh-oh Zoey". She just laughed afterwords and handed me the bowl. Luckily it came right off with some soap and water. Oh, the things she does! I can't stay mad at her because she is just so darn cute!

Happy B-Day Cory

Cory's Birthday was this last weekend and we had a little get together with family and a couple friends for a Carne Asada. Above is the cake for Cory that he got from a Mexican bakery. It was really good and really big! Anyway, below are all the pics we took with everyone that was there. I didn't bother to get any pics of myself(Danae) because I try to stay away from being on the blog!! Anyway, hope you enjoy.

Here is some more pics of our little Zoey. She had so much fun just running around playing in the sun. The funny thing is that the candy necklace around her neck started melting from her sweat and she was sticky all the way down her tummy.
She was pretty excited about the presents and thought they were hers. As you can see her excited expression about the present.
Her cheeks got so red from being hot. She is always running around. I swear the girl never stops. It is always nice to see her sleeping so it reassures me that she is getting recharged so I can get recharged.
And last but not least, to end the party, Zoey got some good drinks from the fountain to cool herself off. Every time my dad would go to take her away, she was scream because she wanted to play more in the fountain. So, he of course gives in to her and let her have her way. Hmmm....I wonder if that is why she won't mind!! Just kidding Dad.thanks to everyone that came! It meant a lot to Cory! It was a very nice day!

Mmmm....I love chocolate pudding! I helped Grandma make it and then I fed myself! Do you want some?!!

BOWLING!

We took Zoey bowling one night with some friends (The Terbergs) and Zoey had a blast. At first she was a little shy as usual but once she got the hang of the whole concept, she was so excited.Every time one of us was up to bowl, she would stand there and wait for our response and if we cheered, she would cheer and lift her arms. It was so fun to take her bowling.
If anyone wants to go bowling, just call us! We are up to it anytime. That is the one thing that we can take Zoey to do and she can run around all she wants.

Happy Pioneer Day Part 2

We went to the buzz game with the Buchanans for the evening of the 24th. It was so much fun. We actually first went to dinner at the Skybox, then later drove down to the field and scalped some general admission tickets. I think we got 4 tickets for about 25 dollars or something. Well, we walked around the whole stadium and there were absolutely no seats in the general admission section. Every section of grass was taken. So, we found some great seats to sit in and unfortunately the people came to claim their seats.
We moved on to some better seats behind home plate. We had great seats. Zoey and Brielle did so good at the game. I thought we would have been chasing them all over the place but they stayed by us and just watched everything around us. Here they are eating some licorice and just enjoying the night. Every time music played, Zoey would "shake her booty" as we all know she does so well!
Zoey got really tired at the game so we changed her in to her pj's. Here she is with Cory just very tired and ready to go to bed. She actually fell asleep on my lap even though the crowds were very loud and the music was loud. I think she looks so cute and peaceful when she sleeps. She is funny, at home you have to be so quiet so you don't wake her, but a loud stadium doesn't even phase her!
We ended the night with some fireworks put on by the stadium. They were very good and the girls enjoyed themselves. They were both scared at first because the fireworks were so loud, but both just sat and watched all the colors that came from the sky. We only got this one pic that was worth putting it on the blog.
The best part about the holiday was not having to work!! It is always great when you have an extra long holiday!

Happy Pioneer Day

Our Pioneer day was wonderful. We first met up with my mom and Marge to have some lunch. We got these cute pics of Zoey in front of some flowers. She had a lot of fun.

Here is Zoey helping herself to a big bowl of icecream. The funny thing is that when I got her the plate of food, it had green beans, rice, french fries, and some mashed potatoes. Zoey's first choice was the green beans. I couldn't believe she chose the green beans over the fries. At least she had one healthy thing!
Later that evening we were preparing to go to the buzz game with our friends the Buchanans. We were waiting outside since our AC was broken. Zoey was having a blast just hanging out on the steps and waiting. She was pulling a lot of funny faces and talking up a storm.
Our day was nice filled with lots of relaxation and fun for the evening.

WHERE HAVE WE BEEN?

Well....long story short, we have no air conditioning!! Yes, thats right. We have not had AC since last friday, our house is anywhere from 84-89 degrees. So, we have been staying at my brother's house since friday. It will be fixed today and then I can post pics from the 24th! We now appreciate our home, it is not easy living in someone else's house!

Time Out

Okay, so here I am sitting with Zoey in her new pool. (I know, brave.) Anyway, I thought it would be fun for her if mom swam with her in the new pool. We had a lot of fun playing in the water. It was actually pretty relaxing. I enjoyed myself. So, just don't pay attention to me, just look at Zoey!
Here is Zoe Bug just playing on her own in the pool. We spent pretty much the whole day in the pool. She was very tired and mad when we decided to come in.
So, we had stripped Zoey down out of her swimsuit and she did something (I actually dont even remember what she did) that made her dad mad so he put her in the "time-out" chair naked. She was so cute, she never even cried. She just sat there looking embarrased until we told her she could get up. Gotta love the time out chair. Thanks mom! (she gave it to us)

New Pool

We got Zoey a new pool to play in this summer. It is a whale pool that sprays water out of the blow hole. We actually got the idea from our friends the Buchanans. They have one for Brielle and I really liked it, so I bought one. I set it up early this morning and Zoey was so excited she wanted to jump right in. We we stripped her down and put a little swimmers diaper on and let her play. She kept thinking the blow hole was a drinking fountain and tried taking drinks from it. It was pretty cute. She had a lot of fun. I love this picture down below, I think she looks so cute.

The Fountains

We went to dinner at the gateway mall and then we had Zoey play in the fountains. Well....there really wasn't much playing, just crying. She was horrified of the fountains.
So, we just let her sit in the stroller and watch the rest of the kids play in the fountains.

And once again clinging to grandma! She was so cute, but we were dissapointed that she didnt play.

Just Chillin

We had gone out to dinner with some friends and Zoey was all over the place. After we came home, Zoey was still be her usual self (very, very active) so we had her lay on our bed and watch her Elmo video to help calm her down. So, here she is just chillin all comfortable on our bed watching the video. We thought it was funny so we took this picture.

Just Having Fun

Zoey loves being outside and we had just given her a bath and didn't want her to get her PJs dirty, so we put this T-Shirt on her which is way too big! BUT, she had lots of fun looking for rocks.


. She also had fun playing in the water with the hose with Cory. Cory kept spraying her with the water so we had to take her shirt off. Before we went inside she kept putting her mouth over the hose and sucking the water out after we had turned it off. She is so funny.
