At the Movies....

So, this is how Zoey left her "precious" people the other day. We have been asking Zoey to put toys away if she is not playing with them any more. I said, "Zoey, you need to put your people away if you are playing with them anymore." She replied, "Mom, they are my precious people and they are at the movies. I can't bother them! It's okay mom, just wait a little while."
Yes, the things they think of of.

Even the horse enjoyed it, while the stagecoach was left at the bottom. Funny thing, the TV wasn't even on.

Next up, this is how I found Colston as I heard him grunting in the other room while zoey and I were cleaning her bedroom. I came in and he had rolled over onto his belly in the bouncer. I think we are done with the bouncer!

Yesterday, Zoey wanted to go on a trip in a boat....so they got in and I pulled them all throughout the house. I remember doing things like this, I love the imagination of a child.

So, I am thinking that Colston is going to be a little person who concentrates on things. Here he is in his room concentrating on getting that lady bug to come off, but it just won't come off! He is already lunging for things and once he has his eye on something he doesn't forget it. If you try to turn him away from the object, he turns his body back towards it and reaches as far as he can. Can't wait to see what trouble he will bring me in his toddler years!

This picture is a dedication to daddy! I should have put his Jeter shirt on him, we will post that at a later time!

To finish off, this kid is not a binky baby. He will take the binky every now and again if he is really tired or really hungry and I can't feed him. He prefers nothing or his little thumb, which he really doesn't suck too often. I caught him sucking his thumb the other day and had to get a picture! Hopefully it doesn't last too long!

Aren't They Sweet!

Okay, so I know I ONLY blog about my kids, but that is seriously all my life consists of. Pretty much every second of every day is spent with these two little sweeties (sometimes not so sweet). So, I just can't help but blog about them.

Colston is growing, growing, growing. I took him to a sick appointment a couple weeks ago and he was an ounce short of 19 pounds. Can you believe it?! He is gigantic. His 6 month appt is next week so I am curious to see what he weighs next week. He is sitting up on his own playing on the floor, he has been for quite a while but would tip over eventually. It is nice to finally have him able to just sit and play!

Zoey is just her usual adorable self. Always saying the funniest things. She loves her little brother and copies things I say to him. It is so cute! This morning she was talking about going to the Draper temple and said that we would go there and wake Jesus up. A while ago we told her that Jesus lived in the temple, she asked if she could go in and see him, we told her that he was sleeping so we couldn't go in. She is so funny! I really should start writing everything down that she says.

Cory is enjoying his job with Alpha Home Health and Hospice. Pretty much not much has changed in our lives. I love being home with the kids, even though it is MUCH harder than actually working out of the house.

Below are a few pics of the kids, of course, so enjoy!

Cory and Colston napping.

This is Zoey playing on the dance game at the bowling alley. It was so cute that she knew how to play it. She loves to dance.

I think Colston's face is so funny in this pic.

Colston loves to play in Zoey's room. She has all the fun toys. He actually loves Zoey all together.

Playing on our bed.

Below are some pics of Colston playing on his own. So nice!

Zoey and Colston

Zoey and Colston are the joy of mine and Cory's life. They are both so sweet and fun to be around. This post is just about them and the things they do.
Above is Zoey and Colston taking a bath together. Zoey insists on getting in with Colston each time he has a bath. Luckily, I think Colston loves it just as much. He always gets a huge smile when they are bathing together.

One of Zoey's best friends, Lauren, came to play for her last time. Lauren moved to Virginia a couple weeks ago. Zoey is very sad and misses her already. She has already asked a few time when Lauren was going to come play again. So sad :(. But here they are playing for the very last time.

Below is Colston's first time actually enjoying cereal. I have tried to introduce cereal to him several times but he just was not interested. Finally he loves it. He smiles the whole time I feed him, it is so cute! Not that he needs the cereal or anything, he is definitely getting enough to eat from me. He is growing like crazy!!

I love my two little kids! They are so fun and I love them more and more each day. Nothing is better than being a mother and watching your kids grow and develop! I love it!
