Goodbye Summer.....Welcome Fall

So, this is exactly what I find Colston doing about 5 times daily. Not kidding or exaggerating. The FIRST chance he gets to run to the bathroom open the toilet and stick his arms in he is there. This time I decided to capture the moment on film. Little stinker!


We went to lunch with the kids to Pizza Factory the other day and had the worst waitress in history. The kids enjoyed themselves and we pretty much let them do what they wanted. Zoey couldn't stay in her seat and Colston was getting into everything as usual.

I made my first apron at enrichment the other night and Zoey wanted to wear it and get her pic taken. So, I thought I would throw it on here as well!
Zoey in one of her many outfits she throws together. Keep in mind, this day was very hot but she insisted on wearing her boots. Sorry the pic is so blurry.
And, to say goodbye to the summer heat, we played outside in the water. Colston LOVES to be outside and loves to play in the hose. So, just enjoy the rest of the pics.



And to end, this is Zoey and Megan (Zoey's best friend) just playing outside! We will miss you summer! BUT I have to admit that I LOVE the fall weather! Sweater weather is the best.

What Have We Been Up To....

Now, these are just a few things that we have been up to, it had been way too long since the last post and I didn't want to do all that catching up.

Cory turned 30! I made him a cheesecake and we went to dinner at Texas Roadhouse.


Colston turned 1! My baby is not a baby anymore. (sniff, sniff) We had a BBQ at the park which was very windy and it seemed liked nothing was going the way we planned. These are the only pics I got from the party. I made him a caterpillar cake and just got pics of him eating it!





One of Zoey and Colston's favorite things of the day is bath time. They LOVE to play in the tub together. I love watching them laugh and play so I always have to take pics!
My two little girls! Okay, so we were too cheap to buy boy hoodie towels for Colston so he uses all of Zoey's towels from when she was little. Still think it is cute though! One day he will hate us for this!
Zoey had her first day of preschool. She absolutely loves school. She has memorized the nursery rhyme for this month already which she did the first day of school. She has always been our little smarty pants. It is fun to see her grow and become smarter and smarter each day.
So, this post was a little boring, I will try very hard to post at least once a month!! That way I won't get behind.

FINALLY

Yes, we finally uploaded some pics! You all should be proud of me. A lot has obviously happened since the last post but here are some family pics for you to enjoy until I get the time to upload all the other pics. Colston turned 1 and many other fun things, those posts to come within the next week.....I hope. Anyway, here are just a few of the family pics that our friend Weston Colton took for us! SUPER MARATHON POST

Seriously, has it been this long since my last post with pictures. I have honestly more pics than these to post, but it takes too long! I will have to print pics off to put them in a book since I didn't get to them. Anyway, here are a few things we have been doing. AND, sorry my blog is basically all about the kiddos....that is pretty ALL my life consists of. BUT, it is the best life to have!


Below is how I found Zoey. The conversation went as follows:

Me: Zoey, did you eat some of the cupcake mix?
Zoey: No, I didn't.
Me: Are you sure?
Zoey: No, I didn't mom, I promise?
Me: Hmmm, that is funny zoey, look in the mirror.
Zoey: Oh, oops, I did mommy.

Below is only one of the pics from Easter. The kids love playing together. Especially little Colston. He adores his older sister.

I have loved having the warm days. I try to get out as much as possible with the kids and enjoy the outside air before it gets too HOT! Below is Colston enjoying the sunshine and watching all the bugs fly around. He loved it!

Here is Zoey and Megan that same day eating their pancakes on the front porch. FYI: Megan is the little girl I have been watching daily. It started out pretty crazy with her, but it is getting better. She is definitely a challenge but is nice for Zoey to have a playmate everyday.

Just another pic of our sweet little Colston. I honestly can't get enough of him. He is so sweet and so cuddly and loving. I don't know how I ever left Zoey with a sister her first year while I was working. I am so thankful I get to stay home with both of them now.

Okay, below is pics from Zoey's 3rd birthday party part 1. We had a party for her at my parents house that was celebrated with her cousin Teagon at the same time. It was fun. We had a spongebob party. They played limbo, jellyfished, pinned the nose on squidward and the works. It was great. We had crabby pattys and all. Below are the pics from the party.

Birthday kisses from grandpa!

Zoey got lots of fun toys from everyone, from jewelry, a barbie, princess Ariel tea cart, Sleeping Beauty vanity, and princess bedding for her bed. She loves it all! We will have a party this coming weekend with Cory's family for her and she is so excited for more presents. Below are some pics of her enjoying her new things.

They look real happy to be sitting on their mommy dont they?! I had to hold both of them down on me. Oh, and don't worry, I have gotten a hair cut since this picture. I needed one BAD!

Zoey insisted on helping me feed Colston. She loves to be mommy's little helper. So here are some pics of her feeding him.

And to finish the post, here are some pics taken of Colston playing with his toys. He got his first haircut last week. I buzzed off his hair so it would all grow in the same length. He is so fun and so is his sister. I love them both!
