Go Jazz Go!!

So, they may not have won but it was a great game. I don't usually enjoy watching sports, but when you are able to sit center court on the 5th row, it is hard NOT to enjoy it. Some friends from the ward had tickets to the game and brought us with them. We got to enjoy a VIP dinner before the game started which was very good, then we watched the game, had dippin dots, and called it a night. I was very nice to be able to go out without any kids (thanks to the Jenkins and my mom and dad).
Above is Cory enjoying the game.

So, for some reason I think Kyle Korver is so cute. Maybe cause he is a good guy, basketball player, who knows....I just think he is cute. So I was happy I got to get an up close pic and view of my crush!

And here is Cory's crush. He REALLY likes D WILL. He even went as far to say he could take the place of his other man crush Derek Jeter. So, we got a few shots of cory's crush so we could have that for documentation. Too bad Cory didn't get to meet him....maybe next time.

Here is Steven and Brittney, thanks to you guys for inviting us to come with you. We had a great time. This couple is very nice and we had lots of fun with them.

And here we are, just enjoying the game. Boy, if only we could sit this close every time. I don't know if I will be able to go back to the nose bleed seats. We are going to have to save for seats like this again sometime.

It was the Bear's birthday so they invited some other mascots to the game. They did some funny things on the timeouts, here is just a pic of what they were doing.
It was a fun night and good to be out on a date! Thank you Steven and Brittney.

The Shopping List and more.....

Yes, Zoey is my little helper. Each time I am going to the store she must come and bring her own little list. In fact, she even pushes the cart all by herself. I will have to get a picture, it is pretty funny. Anyway, below is my shopping list and Zoey's shopping list. Too cute!

Once again, more pics of Zoey helping me bake. BUT...I must learn something from this because on this instance of making chocolate chip cookies, Zoey added a little more flour than needed so the cookies were not that great. Oh well, at least she is a good little helper.

And the rest are just some random pics. Notice how each time I am getting Colston a pic of him in his crib, Zoey has to jump in and get in the pic with him. She loves his crib, too bad she didn't love it when she was his age!

I love colston's smile in this picture. So cute! Totally his personality.

Zoey and Colston's first bath together!

And just little Colston playing so good in the exersaucer. He is so good and so sweet!

Oh Well......

So I am not the best "blogger" in the world, but at least I finally got some pics up for you to see! Once again, here are just a few things from our wonderful month of December. Enjoy!

Below are some pics of Zoey wearing the stockings on her feet. Apparently she thought stockings really meant that you wore them instead of hanging them for Santa to bring goodies to you! She learned soon enough what they were really for, but I still thought this was cute!

Making sugar cookies......

Zoey made a countdown to christmas chain, it was very helpful and fun for her to take a chain off every day.

We had a Christmas/Birthday party for Cory's dad at his sister Carrie's house. Below are a few pics from the night. The kids made cupcakes, we opened presents and we even had a visit from Santa Clause (cory's dad). It was a lot of fun.

Above is Zoey, Micah, and Abby making the cupcakes.

Lets see....Zoey went to Jump On It for the first time. They have a mommy and me time every wednesday from 10 to 11 if any of you are interested in going. It was a lot of fun. Zoey had a blast jumping on all the trampolines. I even had fun! Even though I didn't jump that much, maybe next time though!

Because of all the snow lately, I have been out shoveling our driveway during the day. It pretty much takes me all day since our driveway is soooo long and I have to keep coming in to check on the kids. One day out shoveling this is what we came in the house to, Zoey sound asleep on the couch with her chips in hand. This girl loves chips. Not too crazy about the sweets like cookies and stuff, but loves chips.

And now on Christmas morning, here are some pics.

We had Christmas with my family this year and one of the nights Cory and my brother Stan went to a Jazz game while Raquel and I stayed home with the kids. Below are some pics from the night.

Above is Kamrie, my neice.

Above is Zoey and her cousin Teagon watching a movie.

Colston's head got stuck in his shirt while I was changing him one morning and thought I would take a pic. He is so cute!

Below is Colston in his new Bumbo chair. I love it!

Below is Colston in his swing waiting for church. This kid is huge! He almost doesn't fit in his swing anymore.

Everyone loves the exersaucer, even mommy!

He is so chubby!!!
Well, thats it. Hopefully i will have more time to update more often!

November in a Nutshell

Well....I dont think I really ever posted in November. So quickly to catch you all up, here is what we did in November:

Below is Zoey helping me cook the meat for some taco salad. She loves to help me cook. Anytime she sees me going in the kitchen to do something she is right on my tail, literally! She is my little shadow that follows me EVERYWHERE I go.
Oh, dont you just love it when they fall asleep unexpectedly in uncomfortable places. I loved it when I came in the front room to find Zoey sound asleep on the couch. It was a nice break.

Below is Zoey just watching some television, I thought she looked pretty so I snapped a photo of her.

Here is Zoey with her little friend Savannah from the ward. The youth had a service project one Saturday morning so we watched Savannah for her parents. She was a delight to have. She is so cute and reminds me so much of Zoey at that age (she is one year younger than Zoey). Anyway, it is always fun to have some extra kids over to play with Zoey.

The followings are just some random pics:

Zoey found Cory's graduation hat and wore pretty much the entire day.

Look how handsome he is, he is such a sweetheart.

Okay, now here is a typical Zoey thing to do. She loves the powdered sugar dohnuts and was eating them one day. Well, here she is below eating the dohnut.

This is what I found in the bag later. Yes, a partially eaten dohnut placed back in the bag for the next person to find.

And here is the dohnuts that I took out of the bag for you to see. She just eats the edges off and puts them back thinking that someone else can finish them off.

Below are a couple pics of the kids in their dads beenie. They both look so cute dont ya think!

Next up is the finger painting. First of all, Zoey woke up wanting lots of ponies in her hair. So, we put about 8 pony tails in her hair to get ready for Eli to come play. We watched Eli so his mommy could go to the doctor. Zoey loves Eli and had so much fun while he was here.

Here is Cory and Zoey in their Yankee hats.

Okay, Colston had his 2 month check up and passed with flying colors. He weighed in at a whopping 13 pounds 8 ounces. He is in the 70th percentile for height, weight and head circumference. Perfectly proportioned. He was very good and it was fun to go to his appointment. He is growing like a weed and is the sweetest little boy ever!

VEGAS.
We went to Las Vegas in November to meet my mom's dad for the first time. He lives in Oklahoma and the last time she was him was when she was only 3 years old. Since then she has contacted him, visited him, and arranged for all of us to meet. It was so fun to meet him. He was such a sweetie and it seemed like we had known him all of our lives. He was very happy to meet his great grandchildren as well. It was a fun time. Below are some pics from our trip.

Here is Zoey and her cousin Teagon. They had lots of fun running around the casinos. I must say, Colston was the easy one on this trip. Zoey was definitely the challenge.

Bright eyed Colston just taking in all the sights. He was very good and didn't give me any grief.
Here is a pic of my mom and her dad. You can tell how sweet he is from the look in his eyes. It was a lot of fun and we hope to make it to Oklahoma to visit him. Dont worry Holt and Lindi, we will visit you too!

Here is Zoey after a trip to the M&M store. She bought a cup and some candy.

We took the kids to the FAO Schwarz toy store and they had a blast. Zoey of course wanted every toy she saw. I wish I could buy her everything she wanted. They had some really cute dolls that I wanted to get her but they were too expensive!

Playing on the big piano.

Relaxing back at the hotel after a long day in Vegas.

This is on the way home from Vegas. Colston pretty much slept the entire way. He was so good. Zoey just watched her movies and was happy as long as she had some treats and her movie to watch.

Zoey is finally at the dress up stage. Here she is in her little mermaid costume that she refused to wear on Halloween. She actually wore it to the mall that day but ended up taking it off before we went inside. Cory was very glad she decided to take it off. She is so funny these days. It is fun to see her grow and start to be so independent. Well, she has always been independent in some ways.

And to finish off the post, here is a big smile from Colston. He is so chubby and cute. We love every minute with him. I am so glad to have him in our family. Sometimes I think I might just have another one, if they will be as sweet as him. BUT. I know there is the chance the next could be a sassy little girl just like Zoey. So, I think we will end on a good note with little Colston.
