Well....I dont think I really ever posted in November. So quickly to catch you all up, here is what we did in November:
Below is Zoey helping me cook the meat for some taco salad. She loves to help me cook. Anytime she sees me going in the kitchen to do something she is right on my tail, literally! She is my little shadow that follows me EVERYWHERE I go. Oh, dont you just love it when they fall asleep unexpectedly in uncomfortable places. I loved it when I came in the front room to find Zoey sound asleep on the couch. It was a nice break.
Here is Zoey with her little friend Savannah from the ward. The youth had a service project one Saturday morning so we watched Savannah for her parents. She was a delight to have. She is so cute and reminds me so much of Zoey at that age (she is one year younger than Zoey). Anyway, it is always fun to have some extra kids over to play with Zoey.
The followings are just some random pics:
Look how handsome he is, he is such a sweetheart.
Okay, now here is a typical Zoey thing to do. She loves the powdered sugar dohnuts and was eating them one day. Well, here she is below eating the dohnut.
And here is the dohnuts that I took out of the bag for you to see. She just eats the edges off and puts them back thinking that someone else can finish them off.
Below are a couple pics of the kids in their dads beenie. They both look so cute dont ya think!
Next up is the finger painting. First of all, Zoey woke up wanting lots of ponies in her hair. So, we put about 8 pony tails in her hair to get ready for Eli to come play. We watched Eli so his mommy could go to the doctor. Zoey loves Eli and had so much fun while he was here.
Here is Cory and Zoey in their Yankee hats.
Okay, Colston had his 2 month check up and passed with flying colors. He weighed in at a whopping 13 pounds 8 ounces. He is in the 70th percentile for height, weight and head circumference. Perfectly proportioned. He was very good and it was fun to go to his appointment. He is growing like a weed and is the sweetest little boy ever!
Here is Zoey and her cousin Teagon. They had lots of fun running around the casinos. I must say, Colston was the easy one on this trip. Zoey was definitely the challenge.
Bright eyed Colston just taking in all the sights. He was very good and didn't give me any grief.
Here is Zoey after a trip to the M&M store. She bought a cup and some candy.
We took the kids to the FAO Schwarz toy store and they had a blast. Zoey of course wanted every toy she saw. I wish I could buy her everything she wanted. They had some really cute dolls that I wanted to get her but they were too expensive!
Playing on the big piano.
This is on the way home from Vegas. Colston pretty much slept the entire way. He was so good. Zoey just watched her movies and was happy as long as she had some treats and her movie to watch.
Zoey is finally at the dress up stage. Here she is in her little mermaid costume that she refused to wear on Halloween. She actually wore it to the mall that day but ended up taking it off before we went inside. Cory was very glad she decided to take it off. She is so funny these days. It is fun to see her grow and start to be so independent. Well, she has always been independent in some ways.
And to finish off the post, here is a big smile from Colston. He is so chubby and cute. We love every minute with him. I am so glad to have him in our family. Sometimes I think I might just have another one, if they will be as sweet as him. BUT. I know there is the chance the next could be a sassy little girl just like Zoey. So, I think we will end on a good note with little Colston.
